Biography

Professional musician for over 10 years. My playing has taken me all over the UK and I have played tours and festivals in Norway, Chicago, Spain and France.

I enjoy live music but I also get a real buzz from teaching and I am happy to teach beginners as well as more advanced students.

I like to talk about the concepts of the instrument and find methods that suit the student’s needs but I also would like to think that I can provide simple explanations for students who are just getting started.

I am always looking to improve my teaching so I look out for new methods to build my knowledge of music and teaching.

I have 10 years experience teaching students of all ages. I work independently which usually means I can teach what is appropriate for the student. I have worked for County Music Services in the past but I am happier following my own path.

To date I have a 100% pass rate for all ABRSM, Trinity Guildhall and London College of Music graded exams.
