Biography

I welcome students of all ages, from 7 to 87! I am a classically trained musician with a Bachelor of Music Honours Degree and am a Qualified Teacher. I currently teach a range of adults and children of all levels and abilities, some of whom work towards graded piano exams, others who just want to play for fun. Some want to learn to play jazz and blues, others want more formal 'classical' training. I am experienced in teaching both (or a combination of the two!) and will tailor lessons to suit your ability and goals. Above all, I believe learning to play the piano should be fun and rewarding.

I am a full time primary school teacher, professional freelance pianist and conductor and lead a Staffordshire based Community Choir. I teach piano during weekday evenings (usually Monday, Wednesday or Friday) at home near Trentham, Stoke-on-Trent and occasionally at weekends.

My 2012 price is £12 for 30 minutes, £24 for 60 minutes. These prices may change so please ask for my current prices if you are interested in having lessons.
