Biography

Born and raised in Norfolk, now residing in Guildford, Matt has been drumming for 12 years and playing piano/keyboards/guitar for 8 years. Since graduating from the Academy of Contemporary Music with a BA (hons) in contemporary music - specialising in drums - Matt has been teaching and playing professionally for a few years.<br />

Having recently supported Kim Wilde on her European tour playing for Jon Harrision (Downboy) Matt also plays for and musically directs Rebekah Ryan (Jive) and Raphaella (tripple 8). He has played and recorded with the ACM Gospel Choir and supported the world-famous London Community Gospel Choir. Constant gigging with other artists such as 'Hitch and Pike', 'John Budding' and 'Kirsten Joy Gill' leaves a small amount of room to play in many corporate function bands across the UK as well as some recent recording sessions with Rob Bryton (Lenny Kravitz, Mary J Blige) and Benny Dimassa (Paloma Faith, Liberty X, Little Boots, Adele.<br />

The remainder of his time is spent teaching others from beginner to advanced - of which he is very passionate about.<br />
