Biography

I am a bass player originally from Somerset, England. I have been playing music since the early years of my life starting in the classical field and going through a few instruments before finding that my rightful place is at the low end.<br />

I make an effort to try and involve myself in as many different styles of music and experiment with different types of instruments. This includes, Four-strings, Six-strings, Fretless, Upright and even Tuba. I am passionate about my work and never let an opportunity go by, which has led to me gain a very wide range of experience. Fortunately, along the way I have met and worked with some great people, who have allowed me to grow as a player and work on interesting and successful projects.<br />

I studied for my music degree at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, which was set up by Paul McCartney on the grounds of his old school. I've gone on to work in several areas of the industry including musical theatre, jazz, function/cover bands, studio + live sessions and original material. A couple well-known names I have worked with include Andrew Lloyd Webber and Ben Elton.<br />
I've also been fortunate enough to have had masterclasses from John Patitucci and Paul Turner. I have worked with P+O Australia where I have been playing alongisde Australian stars such as Jackie Love and Roland Storm in exotic locations like Bora-Bora and Tahiti. I've also lived in London for a time playing alongside some excellent names such as Freyia. I've now settled down in Taunton.<br />
