Biography
After taking a diploma on Euphonium in 1977, then Piano in 1978, I left school to concentrate on furthering my physical career. Although my inherant musical abilities come from belgium, with our family link to Beethovan and Chopin, I always felt too pushed to play the piano because of our family heritage, so I rebelled, and I enjoyed it. Students must never go through a pushed education, but with the right teacher, learn at their own pace..... I went to university to gain my masters in music, both in performing and interpretation, this gave me the accademic skills to further my teaching, and apart from learning, I learned how to teach, with special needs pupils amongst my favourites. I enjoy the challenge of interpreting music from Baroque to modern age, getting the most from a student to help them assimilate the music to their performance. All children should be given the chance to associate with music, and this, I promote most heartedly.
At the time of writing this, I have submitted 3 papers for my phd, and been accepted on two, but my thoughts of musical interpretation go deeper.
I am a fun loving guy, who wants to give to people the chance, to play an instrument, and feel the social touch it can give you.
If you are given a chance, take it. If you have the will, let me teach you.
You can only come away from this with a life experience.
