Laura Cannell is a Recorder and Fiddle player from Norfolk, England. She has been described as "a brilliantly talented soloist" and as a "sparkling performer". Laura performs in a wide variety of settings from solo recorder recitals to folk festivals to contemporary music festivals.
She graduated from the London College of Music and Media in 2001 with 1st Class Honours in Performance and from the University of East Anglia in 2003 with a Masters in Performance Studies.
Laura was elected as a Woodwind Fellow at LCMM and in 2004 she received an Arts Council of England grant for creative development into new repertoire for the recorder.

Laura performs traditional and medieval music with contemporary techniques in the trio 'HORSES BRAWL', who have had their music played on BBC Radio 3 and Resonance FM.
