I am a Professional Musician with extensive teaching experience. I teach the piano from Age 5 upwards from beginners to grade 8 and then on to diplomas - LRAM ARCM LTCL ABCM etc. It is not a requirement to have to take exams but I would strongly encourage you to do this.
