Biography
I studied at the prestigious Chethams School of Music from the age of 8, continuing my studies with Peter Noke (piano) and Jonathan Price (cello).
In 1987 I was awarded a place at The Royal Academy of Music, London, where I studied the piano with Antonietta Notariello and the distinguished accompanist Geoffrey Pratley.
I was awarded the Professional Certificate of the Royal Academy of Music in 1987.
I also studied piano pedagogy with Ruth Harte and Philip Jenkins, being awarded the LRAM in 1986.
I am a member of both EPTA and the ISM.
In addition, I hold a BA (Hons) (theology/religious studies)and am a qualified Bowen Therapist(BTAA).
Currently I teach at St Hugh's Preparatory School, Woodhall Spa.

I have also taught privately since 1992, both in Cumbria and SW Scotland before moving to Lincolnshire.
I am an experienced performer,primarily as an accompanist, and have performed in venues such as St Giles Cathedral Edinburgh and St Georges Hanover Square, Hawshead Summer Music, Leigh Music Society, etc.
