He has given many recitals throughout the United Kingdom and abroad including several performances at the Wigmore Hall,London.
John was privileged to partner the baritone Derek Hammond-Stroud at the Fairfield Halls 20th Anniversary Celebrity Lunchtime Concerts and in a performance of the song cycle “Winterreise” for the Schubert Society of Great Britain.
In 2003 he was the classical artist on the QE2 for part of a world cruise, giving five different recital programmes, both as soloist and accompanist.
Currently he is based in Brighton where he has forged a busy and diverse career as teacher, accompanist, soloist and chamber music player.
In addition to his work as a classical musician he has performed extensively as an accompanist in cabaret with many well known artists including Dora Bryan and the late Marti Caine with whom he also recorded and arranged the track “What does a Woman See in a Man” for the CD album entitled “Marti 1995”
