Biography

Began playing guitar seriously at senior school, acoustic, many groups and ensembles in rock, folk rock, folk and period music genres.<br /><br />
<br /><br />
Session musician at studio in 1980's. Worked in commercial production for local radio and tv, some presentation.<br /><br />
<br /><br />
Began teaching at FE colleges in mid 1980's. Resident acoustic guitar tutor at Warwickshire College from 2002 to date. Also taught modules on Popular Music and Music Technology courses. Performance coaching a speciality.<br /><br />
<br /><br />
Manager at themed medieval show at Coombe Abbey Hotel for two years; five years as lead musician and courte minstrel Coombe Abbey hotel. Previously two years as lead musican at Warwick castle.<br /><br />
<br /><br />
Seasoned performer but now retired to teach. Students range in age from 7 years to 80 years. Patient and kind with beginners.<br /><br />

Musical likes - British music, Katy Perry, Gabriella Climi, Lilly Allen, Green Day, The Beatles, Neil Young, Buddy Holly, Oasis Pink Floyd, Metallica, Guns 'n' Roses - plus light classical, fingerpicking, celtic melodies and kids songs, Disney, Lloyd Webber, music from shows.<br />
