I have found Jennifer to be an excellent clarinet teacher. As a flute player, wanting to improve my clarinet skills, she has given me a lot of help with the technical issues that I have with the clarinet. I am gaining confidence on the clarinet, thanks to Jennifer’s patience and encouragement, and I will take my Grade 7 examination next term. Jennifer has not only concentrated on the Grade 7 syllabus, but has introduced me to a wider repertoire of clarinet music, and she plans to take this further after my grade 7 exam. I would recommend Jennifer as a clarinet and saxophone teacher to both beginners and advanced players alike.

I have known Jen since I began my lessons in April 2008. Having previously never been able to read sheet music properly, I am now extremely pleased at being able to read and play saxophone to Grade 5 standard. i credit Jen with this accomplishment as she has been extremely consistent in her teaching methods over this period. Her variation of content, perseverance and encouragement in lesson time ensures that I keep a high level of interest and enjoyment. Jen's pleasant, amenable yet positive personality also contributes greatly to my motivation to practice and improve. Suffice it to say, I look forward to my weekly lessons.
