Biography

Graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Played with orchestras such as the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Scottish Opera and Scottish Ensemble amongst others. Played in concerts with Mel Torme, George Shearing, Dame Evelyn Glennie, Sir James Galway and Nicola Benedetti playing in the finest concert halls across the world. Alasdair's diversity have taken him to music festivals across Europe to many performances at the BBC Proms in the Royal Albert Hall and a season of Phantom of the Opera in the Edinburgh Playhouse.

Alasdair has been teaching in education establishments across Scotland for over 20 years and is proud to be endorsed by ProMark Drumsticks.
