Hello. I present an individual approach to guitar and bass guitar tuition encompassing all contemporary styles from intermediate to advanced students. This includes a collection of self-produced and researched tuitional material that has repeatedly generated fantastic results. My particular strength is nurturing the enthusiasm of students whilst developing awareness through clearly introducing valuable and relevant aspects of musical knowledge, directed specifically to the needs of the individual. The most important thing is to enjoy exploring and experiencing music! I have over six years’ experience teaching across a range of settings alongside ten years of personal experience with acclaimed international teachers and musicians of various styles. I currently design and teach the guitar course for the BA (Hons) Popular Music Performance at Southampton Solent University and am the guitar teacher at the LMFL International Jazz Summer School alongside private tuition. I also work as a solo artist, accompanist, band leader and session musician. I do travel around for work so do get in touch if Dorset is far from you.
