I have moved to Devon after finishing my sixth successful year teaching piano at degree level at the University of Southampton. I enjoy teaching and my tuition has enabled my students to achieve some of the highest results in the county, across the grades. My University students have similarly done very well, gaining first class marks. Regarding my own piano playing, I have a BSc in Acoustics and Music and an MA in Performance, both from the University of Southampton, under the supervision of Mr. David Owen Norris. I achieved distinctions for all my grades 3 to 8 and distinction for my LRSM. I also attained the highest exam results for grades 7 and 8 in Norfolk, the highest results at University for performance and have won prizes for being an outstanding musician. I studied Organ at Winchester Cathedral and St.Peter Mancroft Church in Norwich, and I also had three years of Harpsichord tuition with Jane Chapman. I love to pass on all of this knowledge to my students, and hope to provide a service of teaching that gives both excellence and most importantly, enjoyment.
