Biography

A recent graduate from Leeds College of Music, Mark did not begin his serious piano studies until he moved to Leeds at the age of seventeen. After receiving a first in performance and subsequently receiving the ‘Friend’s Prize for Classical Piano,’ Mark decided to further his studies and is currently studying for a Masters Degree at the University of Leeds.
Mark has a great interest in the late piano works of Beethoven and is currently studying the final piano sonatas. In addition, Mark is studying solo works by Chopin, Debussy and Berg, and has recently started work on Ravel’s G major piano concerto.
