I trained as a classical trumpet player, and now play in jazz groups, soul bands, West End shows etc., which gives me a wide knowledge of styles. I am happy to teach all ages and levels, but I do expect students to have a real desire to play and learn! I also teach Music Theory, particularly to enable a Grade 5 pass; and offer Aural lessons - especially useful when an instrumental exam is fast approaching.
