Notes:

An experienced piano teacher, accompanist, and duettist I formally taught at the Junior School of the RNCM, Manchester Grammar School and Sale Grammar school as well as privately. I teach beginners (7 years +) up to diploma level. I provide a comprensive musical education including theory, aural training and wider music appreciation. I have a highly successful exam pass rate but also encourage my pupils to look beyond formal examinations so as to maximise their technical and musical skills and enjoyment.

I was formally the regional organiser for the European Piano Teachers Association (EPTA) and established the Piano Teachers Forum which I continue to run successfully for teachers across Manchester.

I am highly skilled accompanist and am part of an ensemble called La Dolce Musica with the well known flautist Nichola Hunter. I also established the Quattromani piano duet with Nicholas Oliver, head of accompaniment, Chetham's School of Music.
