Notes:
I'm a young concert pianist who has been teaching privately in London for the past eight years, and I also hold a piano teaching position at Headington School, an independent girls school in Oxford. I am based in Crouch End in North London.
I love teaching students of all ages and all standards, from beginners discovering the joy of playing the piano whilst laying the foundations of their technique, to students who are working their way up the grades with both the Trinity and ABRSM exam boards. Although I don't believe exams to be compulsory, the structure of both syllabusses provides a great all-round development for a student's musicianship and technique and I refer to them regularly. Furthermore I have experience teaching the diploma syllabusses from both exam boards. I also teach music theory, usually to supplement a student's piano lessons.
I have many years of performing experience at venues across the UK and Europe, and I've been awarded numerous prizes and awards. The piano and its rich and varied repertoire is an endless source of discovery and I love to perform and teach it.
My lessons are always fun, engaging and dynamic and I love watching a student develop at their own pace.
