Notes:

I have been a music teacher and an active solo and collaborative performer for nearly a decade. I recently moved to the UK from Australia and have since been teaching at an acclaimed public school and working as a freelance accompanist and soloist. I currently work as a lay clerk at Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford. I have much experience as a rehearsal accompanist and conductor. I am a core member of the acclaimed contemporary music septet, Nonsemble with whom I played alongside Sigur Ros and Beck at Harvest Festival, presented at TEDx, was twice featured on the influential “I Care if You Listen” mixtape and has been played on New York’s WNYC show “New Sounds” on multiple occasions. A passionate advocate for new music, I have given state, national and world premieres by composers such as Ben Heim, Connor D’Netto, Chris Perren, Nico Muhly and Steve Reich. I co-hosted a radio show on 4ZZZ digital programing the latest in alternative and postmodern classical music with composer, Chris Perren. As a composer, I have placed in the ASME (Australian Society of Music Educators) ‘Young Composer of the Year’ on two occasions. With a passion for youth arts education, I also directed music on Summer SMADD, a creative arts camp for high school students and have tutored music in Papua New Guinea. I have recently been awarded an MPhil in chamber music and accompaniment from the University of Queensland attained on a full scholarship.
