cello My teaching style varies depending on age and ability level.I try to focus not only on the cello technique but also general musicianship and appreciation of music.I do encourage my pupils to play in ensambles;their friends, parents or me accompanying them on the piano or cello.I would also encourage them to perform. It doesn't have to be a concert but even just playing to the closest family members gives them a goal to work towards and then a feeling of achievement.
