I place a high emphasis on musicianship and musicality and encourage my students to embrace the many different musical genres. As a musician I play professionally in jazz and function bands, musical theatre and I recently formed an 18-piece professional jazz orchestra which I lead and direct. I have played and competed at the highest level in Brass Bands and enjoyed tours in Europe and USA.

Voice training has been my life's work. I can help you with vocal problems and inspire you to release your true voice. My repertoire is Lieder, Art Songs, Opera, Operetta, Oratorio, Sacred and crossover styles from the musical genre. I prefer to teach mature students, over the age of 16 but not exclusively and am happy to take singers who feel they need to brush up their technique as well. All classical styles and some crossover classical/musical.
With extensive training in Classical singing at Queen's University, Belfast I am trained in operatic aswell as classical and musical theatre genres of the voice. I have participated in recitals as part of examinations and been involved in school and community choirs that have helped me gain further experience and knowledge of the Voice. , From the age of six years old I have been very enthusiastic to learn the piano and have loved being an accompanist for choirs aswell as playing in my church and for examinations. , Through my secondary school education I took up the flute and enjoyed learning how to control my breathing and playing challenging pieces for graded examinations and in the school orchestra and Junior concert band.
