Most people now have access to an iPad and most of my pupils use a digital piano. The apps I use make practicing the piano fun, and nothing like it used to be. Also, it has been shown that using these digital resources can dramatically speed up the learning process. Pupils practise at home with these apps get instant assessment of notes played on their screen. This enables rapid correct learning and prevents wrong notes from being practised into the memory.
