Rhythm Bandit

Spin the wheel and show the rhythm bandit who's the boss!

Welcome to Rhythm Bandit !

First choose a difficulty level. Then you have two whole minutes to score as many points as possible.

The Bandit will spin. You need to add up the total rhythmic value of the 3 notes and/or rests displayed and enter it into the box. Beware! The answer might end in .5 or even .25

- Get it right and youĂll get 10 points

- Get it wrong and the Bandit will give you a 2nd attempt (because he's nice!)

- Get it right second time and you'll get 5 points. That's it!

Please note - no treble clefs were harmed during the making of this game.

The 3 different levels for playing the game are:

Beginner - On this level the Bandit can deal out semibreves (whole notes to our transatlantic friends), minims (half notes), crotchets (quarter notes) and quavers (eighth notes), together with their equivalent rests. You will only be asked to add up the total number of crotchets you can see e.g. if the Bandit deals out crotchet, semibreve, quaver, the answer you need to type in is 5.5.

Intermediate - On this level the Bandit can deal out semibreves, minims, crotchets, quavers and semiquavers (sixteenth notes), together with their equivalent rests. This time the game can ask either 'how many crotchets does it add up to?' or 'how many quavers does it add up to?'.

Virtuoso - This level will use semibreves, dotted semibreves, minims, dotted minims, crotchets, dotted crotchets, quavers and semiquavers, together with their equivalent rests. This time the game can ask either 'how many crotchets does it add up to?' or 'how many quavers does it add up to?'.
