Drum Kit Primarily a lecturer in Music and Music Business and RSL examiner with a specialism in Drum Kit and Music Theory. As well as lecturing, I have and still work closely with many organisations including Glasgow Life, Argyll and Bute Council, Drake Music Scotland, Beatroute Arts, Sound Lab and Feis as an educator., , Generally, my current students are intermediate and advanced student however I also deliver tuition to beginners. Lesson content is constructed from student/parent intentions however my primary aim is to develop the musicianship of my students. Making them a better drummer on the pursuit to become a better musician., , Over the past few years I have been lucky enough to have received tuition from some of the UK's leading professionals including Steve White, Mike Dolbear, Colin Woolway, Craig Blundell, Mark Guiliana, Dave Hassell and the late Bob Armstrong.
Violin I have performed a police check. I am very able to teach a wide range of styles to any level and have taught successfully those aiming to complete examinations. While technique is of great importance I focus a great deal on musical style. I am concerned with my students fulfilling their potential and developing a love of music and confidence in performance. I am currently a member of the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra.
