Rebecca has recently graduated with a PGDip in violin performance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, studying with Clare Thompson. Prior to this she completed her BMus(Hons) in violin performance from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama with Darragh Morgan.

Born into a musical household, Rebecca started learning the piano aged 6 with her mother. She later went on to study with Mary Rees and gained her grade 8 whilst still in school.

Rebecca joined her first county youth orchestra ensemble on the violin at the age of 8. She progressed through the youth system and successfully auditioned for the National Youth Orchestra of Wales at the age of 15. She played for this orchestra for 6 years and was appointed to the position of co-leader of the orchestra in her final 2 years. During her time with NYOW Rebecca was chosen to play in 3 side-by-side collaborations with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales.

Rebecca enjoys an active freelance career in London and across Wales. She plays with Orpheus Sinfonia, Orion Orchestra, Women of the World Orchestra, London Firebird Orchestra, Cardiff Sinfonietta, Neath Sinfonietta and Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra.

She has played in venues across the UK including the Royal Albert Hall at the 2012 BBC Proms, Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, St Johns Smith Square, St Davidís Hall, the Sage Gateshead and the Wales Millennium Centre, aswell as tours across Italy and Prague.
