Notes:
Please note: I am taking on new piano pupils for September. Lessons will be in person where possible, but pupils will need access to online lessons as well in case of any possible contact with Covid-19. Young pupils will need an adult available to assist them during any online lessons.
I am not currently taking on flute pupils as wind instruments carry a higher risk of infection.
I have many years experience teaching one-to-one. Lessons are tailored to the individual, incorporating musical theory, aural training and improvisation as well as technique and musicianship.
Piano beginners are welcome from age 4 and flute from age 6, where they can begin learning the fife or one of the specially designed flutes for young children until big enough for a full-sized instrument. Adults learners are also welcome!
I am able to prepare pupils for ABRSM, Trinity & MTB grade exams if desired.
I have experience of a variety of special needs, including autism, dyslexia and dyspraxia, so please contact me for a chat about any individual needs.
I have a clear, enhanced DBS for working with children and vulnerable adults.
Fees are payable monthly, September to July for term-time only lessons. Half hour lessons cost £52.50 per month. Hour long lessons cost £105.
