Notes:

I offer piano lessons to a range of ages and abilities, from complete beginners up to grade 8 standard.

My students are educated in music theory and prepared for aural examinations as standard. I also offer separate music theory lessons (up to grade 5 standard) and aural preparation (up to grade 8 level) to non-piano students.

I have a wide range of students: 4 year-olds just taking their first lessons, retired students making use of their leisure time and advanced students preparing for their grade 7 or 8 exams. I also teach busy professionals who wish to pursue the piano in their own time. Exams are certainly an option to all students, but are not compulsory.

I ensure to maintain a relaxed and supportive atmosphere and tailor the pace of the lessons to the abilities and goals of individual students.

I am also an experienced accompanist and am available for both auditions and all Trinity and ABRSM grade exams.

Lessons and rehearsals take place at my dedicated teaching room on Spring Gardens Terrace, CF24 1QX.

Times and dates can be flexible, so please enquire to find out more.

The initial lesson is always free in order for students to comfortably decide whether they would like to continue.

My fees are as follows:

30 minutes - £10

45 minutes - £15

60 minutes - £20

I have an up-to-date DBS check (available upon request) and have registered teacher status with the Incorporated Society of Musicians.

Please get in touch if you have any questions or would like to arrange a free trial lesson. Please also visit www.philipmaymusic.co.uk for further information.
