Child Protection Course:
Completed Educare child protection training course. (more)
Keeping Children Safe in Music is the latest in the EduCare's series of distance learning courses on child protection. The training programme uses short films to show a variety of good and bad practice examples, which will be available to watch online. It will help anyone teaching music to children gain a better understanding of their child protection responsibilities, and avoid situations that could lead to accusations of misconduct.

Instruments: Violin & theory
Composition & arrangement
Genre/Style(s): Classical
Ability Levels: Beginners to Advanced

I have played the violin for 34 years and have been classically trained since age 7. I have experience teaching music and violin in a prestigious girls school, have taught private students as well as performed in numerous ensembles including the Lancashire Chamber Orchestra. I specialise with beginners and intermediate level players to produce well-rounded musicians in both theory and performance. As a mum of two I know it takes more than simply scales and arpeggios to keep new students focused and engaged when learning a new instrument! I can also help with music theory and composition for GCSE or A Level etc. Students of any age welcome you are never too old to learn!
