Since graduating in as a professional Tenor from Trinity College of Music London, in 2000, I've worked in many areas of performance and education.

I've worked as a singing teacher for Guildford School of Acting, Bird College, Italia Conti London, London Studio Centre and most recently in Leeds for the Morley Academy, Farnley Academy and SLP college.

As a professional singer, I've worked in major concert venues around the UK, as a light oratorio Tenor to Musical Theatre/pop styles.

During my time in London, I conducted the London Equity Choir at events in venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and the Actor's Church. Kerry also conducted off-West End shows such as Anything Goes and Cabaret, and a one-off concert at the Old Vic.

I've also worked as a producer and conductor on a number of albums for solo singers in London, including workshops of music I wrote with various lyricists. I also recorded a CD of various sacred choral pieces after forming the Illumination choir with contemporary composer Miriam Mackie.

I moved to Leeds in 2015, where I work for a charity in the city centre, and continue to teach singing. I have worked as Musical Director for Beckett Choir since early 2016.

I'm happy to teach a variety of styles depending on what you need. I have a friendly and enthusiastic teaching style to give you confidence and a sound technical framework.

I learnt my singing technique using Vocal Process (including their Core Training Programme), which is a very helpful way to diagnose and create healthy singing. See the book "Singing and the Actor" for more info.
