Notes:

I am passionate about helping students to find their individual voice whilst also developing efficient technique and a clear understanding of physiology and musicianship. I have worked with a wide age range of students throughout my career and enjoy helping to develop musicians and voices from the beginning stages through to advanced levels.

I have been on the singing faculty at the Royal Ballet School, East 15 Acting School and Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. I am experienced in working with dancers and actors in a singing capacity and the specialist approach required, particularly in coaching and preparing students for auditions for drama schools and/or professional work.

As a singing and piano teacher, I am dedicated to bringing out the best in every individualís musical development and enabling students to be confident, skilled musicians. I have ten years experience in coaching students through the ABRSM exam syllabus, including sight-reading and aural tests as well as coaching proficient and musical performances of the repertoire.

I am an Estill Master Trainer in training in the world-renowned Estill Voice Model on the EMT Pathway with Anne-Marie Speed and work with performers from a wide range of performing disciplines.

I am also currently training to be an examiner for the London College of Music.

I have trained in classical, jazz, musical theatre, contemporary and popular music genres. I have worked with Glyndebourne Education, Pegasus Opera, HMDT, Pro Corda, Royal College of Music, BBC Proms, IntoUniversity, Turtle Song and the City of London Festival in facilitating and delivering creative music workshops in singing, composition and improvisation. I have also presented pre-concert talks for ensembles including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Academy of St Martin-in-the-Fields and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.

I work in addition as a performer, composer and recording artist. I sang in the Royal Shakespeare Company's recent production of Titus Andronicus, as part of the Rome Season with shows at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, the Barbican and broadcast live to cinemas worldwide. I sing with London Contemporary Voices, perform as a piano vocalist throughout London and record for films, theatre, video games and animations worldwide.

I believe key factors in teaching are developing confidence and creativity, as well as empowering students to work individually and practise efficiently. I aim to make lessons fun whilst also building a grounding of good technique and musicianship.

I am currently teaching online via Zoom and Skype. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you wish to discuss your aims and my approach further.
