Biography

I am an experienced and qualified violin, piano and music theory teacher.
I have an MA with Distinction from the Royal Academy of Music, as well as a Bachelor of Music with First class honours from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. I have vast performance experience and perform on a regular basis in a variety of ensembles - orchestras, chamber ensembles, quartets, trios and duos. Recent highlights including performances at BBC proms and on BBC Radio 3 ‘In Tune’. I am passionate, positive and enthusiastic, believing myself to be very adaptable to different learning styles and personalities. I am the Visiting Music Teacher of violin and Chamber Music Coach at David Game College in London, as well as piano teacher at the Stewart Bilingual School. I have taught and coached chamber music at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland Summer Schools and for Brent Music Service, as well as being a cover teacher for Camden Music Service.
I pride myself on my adaptability to different learning styles and positive outlook on learning. As well as tailoring my lesson style and goals according to my students' needs, I strive to instil work ethic and allow them to reap the rewards of dedication and commitment; a skill that is highly transferable and useful to carry through all walks of life.
I am friendly, supportive and always encourage the student to fulfil their potential.
I have a 100% distinction/merit pass rate for ABRSM exams, as well as qualifications in Kodaly teaching and LRAM.
I am based in North West London (Willisden/Cricklewood) and travel to students house on a case by case basis which will be reflected in the fee.
