My aim as a teacher is to encourage the very best out of my students and to foster a love and appreciation of music in a fun and inspiring environment! I have a vast amount of teaching experience working with all ages and abilities: from starting young children off on their first instrument; to helping students prepare for ABRSM exams, scholarship auditions for private schools and NCO/NYO auditions; to helping amateur musicians play the pieces they love. I have developed a holistic style of teaching that aims to bring together the many different approaches there are to learning an instrument, so that I can meet the individual needs of each student and avoid a one size fits all approach!

I have taught at the Royal Academy of Music Junior Dept, Pro Corda (where I was awarded a Leverhulme fellowship), Dartington International Summer School and have worked with the Royal Albert Hallís outreach ensemble, Albertís Band. I currently teach at the Godolphin&Latymer School in Hammersmith.

I teach from my home in Stockwell and also in the Hammersmith/Barnes and Clapham areas but happy to travel to other parts of London.
