Notes:
I am an experienced singer and teacher of singing, specializing in adolescent and adult voices. I draw on my previous experience working as a full time school teacher and my own singing career to work creatively with pupils, enabling them to develop their all round musicianship as well as singing abilities in a positive and supportive environment.
Music lessons are fun and build confidence which can be transferred to all areas of life. Singing socially is a fantastic way to meet people and lessons can help you to get the most out of your voice.
I am experienced at entering pupils for ABRSM exams Grades 1-8 and my students regularly achieve distinction and merit marks. I have also had several pupils apply succesfully for Oxford/Cambridge choral scholarships. I have a current DBS and alongside a performing career currently teach at two schools (Wycombe Abbey and The Oratory School) on their singing teaching staff. I previously taught at Dame Alice Owen's School.
I am also available to teach Violin and Piano and can tutor Theory students - especially useful for passing the all important Grade 5 theory in order to progress to the higher ABRSM grades. Please do get in touch to discuss your musical ambitions!
