I am a highly committed teacher with over sixteen years of teaching experience and enjoy teaching pupils of all abilities and ages, both adults and children. I am equally happy to enter pupils for exams or teach purely for enjoyment if preferred.

I have various after-school vacancies available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I also have various weekly/fortnightly vacancies for those who are available within school hours.

In 2016 I successfully completed an MA in Instrumental Teaching and gained a distinction from the University of Reading. I have a degree in music from Goldsmiths College, University of London, where I studied the flute with Anna Noakes.

I currently teach at three schools - The Mount School, Fulford School and Osbaldwick Primary School.

I have played the flute and piccolo in many orchestras and bands including York Symphony Orchestra, City of York Guildhall Orchestra, York Opera Orchestra, Academy of St Olave's Orchestra, York Stage Musicals, Pickering Musical Society, York Musical Society, City of Carlisle Orchestra, Goldsmiths Sinfonia, Goldsmiths Contemporary Music Ensemble, North Yorkshire Schools Symphony Orchestra and the British Youth Opera Orchestra.
