Notes:

I am an enthusiastic and dedicated violin player based in Southampton area, currently studying at the University of Southampton. I aspire to help bring music to a new generation and inspire them to use music to help others. As a performer I have taken part in large-scale projects including being a member of the string orchestra with the Daniel Herskedal Trio and Ivo Neame, as well as on stage band for the The Carpenters Story in Bournemouth, pantomime pit bands, jazz workshops and ensembles.

I have been teaching and coaching a range of instruments for all ages with varying abilities. I aim to encourage students to love music and their instrument! I am confident that I can provide lessons to suit the individual needs of a pupil, to read and understand music, bringing out the best in every musician. One-on-one lessons that teach posture, beautiful tone production, accurate intonation, musicianship skills, and playing through a wonderful range of exciting repertoire.

As a solo and chamber musician I have performed in Tuscany, Croatia, Slovakia, Budapest, Czech Republic and across the UK, playing in the annual Great Comp concerts in Kent. As an orchestral player I have performed with the Charity Symphony Orchestra, Southampton University Symphony Orchestra and Sinfonietta, Kent Count Youth Orchestra, Lydian Orchestra and been a guest player with Solent Symphony Orchestra. Amongst several groups, I have performed with string quartets, piano trios and most recently as part of a violin duet, receiving ensemble training regularly.

The past 2 years I have enjoyed working in partnership with the Southampton Music Hub, liaising with local schools in the area, teaching children about the instruments of the orchestra in our ‘Baby SUSO’ workshops and playing short concerts for the local community.

Whether you want to prepare for competitions, performances, learn a new skill, or get back into music I am here to help!
