I took the musical performance side of the degree at Royal Academy of Music currently studying with Simon Haram.
Part of my studies have been at SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies), focusing on the performance of world music, (Kora and Gamelan.)
I have just taken the Academy's LRAM teaching course - and I have a wide understanding of many different approaches to the teaching of Music from around the world.
Previous saxophone teachers include, Andy Tweed, Richard Addison, Sarah James, Jill Beddoe. .
I was previously a student at Birmingham Conservatoires Junior Department.
I was 2013 Gloucestershire Young Musician of the year, and have won numerous performance competitions, such as The Two Moors musicians platform and the Keith Nutland Award resulting in a number of solo and concerto performances.
I currently play in a wide range of ensembles, including Jazz, Electronic, Dance, Experimental, Classical, Pop etc.
Previous Ensembles include National Youth Wind Orchestra and European Youth Summer Orchestra, Gloucester Cathederal Choir and have worked with many artists and ensembles including; the Serlo Consort, The Pogues, Max Perryment, Billon, Cinematic, Sasha Keable, MNEK, Sam Smith and Katy B.
Instruments: Saxophones.
I think it is vital that a student learns musicianship as well as the saxophone. Lessons (particularly beginners) maybe include basic aspects of other instruments, usually piano or percussion as I believe this will help to improve general musicianship and therefore a more rewarding, interesting and fun learning experience.
Much of my playing is focused around electronics and the saxophone, if that is of interest to you, please get in touch!
Can give basic production lessons and beginner piano.
Genre/Style(s): Affordable Saxophone Lessons
Although primarily classical, it is important to incorporate a wide range of styles in to playing.
Jazz, Electronic, Classical, Experimental etc
Ability Levels: Beginners to Advanced

I can travel to lessons or you can come to my home studio in Harringay or potentially weekdays in a studio in Tottenham.
