Notes:
Hi there, My name is Amina Ceitidh Davidson and I am a professional musician living in Glasgow. I have been playing traditional music for 14 years and have had several years teaching experience. I was lucky enough to study on the BA (Hons) Traditional Music and Gaelic course at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig on the Isle of Skye, focusing my studies on accordion and Gaelic song. and since leaving the island, have been touring extensively, undertaking teaching work, including tutoring at Tinto Summer School and Edinburgh Youth Gaitherin’, and been actively involved in Glasgow’s thriving trad music scene.
I offer individual lessons on accordion, Gaelic song, fiddle and guitar (including DADGAD) and am willing to take on pupils of any age or ability. I am also happy to prepare pupils for any upcoming music exams.
I mainly teach from my flat in the West End of Glasgow but am willing to travel to you within reason.
Please do not hesitate to get in contact with me with any questions regarding lessons or my music in general.
Look forward to hearing from you!
