BA (Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama)
Instruments: Violin
Genre/Style(s): Classical
Ability Levels: Beginners to Advanced

I am a friendly and patient teacher based in Salisbury.

For the younger violinists and violists (from 3 years) I use the Stringbabies method, which uses toys, games and songs to make the lessons fun and engaging and makes music accessible.

For Violin and Viola I use both the ABRSM and Trinity syllabuses.

I believe that everyone can benefit from music in their lives and learning a musical instrument can help children blossom. Learning a musical instrument has been proven to help improve concentration and achievements at school. I aim to progress each student at their own pace and build the lessons to suit the individual. I also believe that general musicianship is important alongside the instrument and aim for a rounded approach. But ultimately, music is fun!

I take adults from beginners to advanced and will work with you as to what you want to achieve, be it examinations, to join a local orchestra, or just to have fun.
