• Recent pupils have gone on to further study at the Royal Academy of Music, Guildhall School of Music, Welsh College of Music, Oxford University and Cambridge University.

I am currently playing with drummer Gary Husbands band “Drive”, featuring Julian Siegel and Mike Janisch. I have recently worked with Bill Frisell, Steve Swallow and Adam Nussbaum, The Mike Gibbs Big Band, Peter Erskine, Hermeto Pascoal, Gerard Presencer, John Barclay, Julian Arguelles and Paul Booth.

Since moving to London in 2002 I have appeared at The London Jazz Festival, The Glasgow International Jazz Festival and The Cork Jazz Festival, played at Ronnie Scotts Club, The Pizza Express Jazz Club (Soho), The 606 Club, The Jazz Café, LSO St. Lukes and regularly appeared in Scotland, Wales and Ireland both as a leader and side man.
As well as my work in the field of jazz, I have performed several premiers of crossover classical/jazz works for trumpet. The most recent being at the 2006 Aberystwyth Music Festival in Wales, and in August of this year I performed a short recital of trumpet and organ music at York Minster.
As a session musician I have played live broadcasts for BBC radio, recorded on albums for Sony music and have been featured soloist on many different recordings for other independent record labels.
