After years of living, studying and working within a community of musicians, I have seen firsthand that music is something that can truly enrich a person's life. I would love to teach you - whether you're a complete beginner or have been playing for years, if you wish to take grades or simply play for fun.

I believe that first and foremost, music should be fun and a shared joy in life, and I aim for my students to primarily learn in a way that suits them, with material that they are passionate about. This means that if you want to incorporate cello into songs that you've written, I can help you achieve that, and we can enjoy the creative process together. Alternatively, if you want to take a more methodical approach and tackle the classic repertoire whilst taking grades, I can help you with that too!

A fundamental part of my lessons is to teach excellent technique, as this is the foundation for a student reaching their potential on the instrument.

I can also provide tuition in music theory, whether you have an upcoming exam, or just want to know more.

I teach from home in Edgbaston, and offer lessons of 30, 45 and 60 minutes, priced at £16.00, £22.50 and £30.00 respectively.

I will be taking on new students from September 2020. Please get in touch for more details, and to arrange your 20 minute taster session (£10:00).

I look forward to hearing from you!
