NB: I am teaching via Zoom at the moment.

I am an experienced pianist and violinist, and have studied music to postgraduate level, including in community music-making and non-classical styles. I hold a Music degree from Royal Holloway, where my instrumental scholarship enabled me to have piano lessons at the Royal College of Music.

Before university I studied at the Junior Royal Northern College of Music, and at home in Sheffield, where I attended Sheffield Music School and played the violin in the City of Sheffield Youth Orchestra.

My playing experience is extensive and eclectic, and my teaching style is flexible and pupil-focused. Whether you’re just starting out, wanting to play for fun or work towards an exam, I am here to help you reach your musical potential. I hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate.

I teach both piano and violin, and I am also available to accompany (rehearsals, performances, music exams), give music theory lessons, and support with A level and GCSE Music.
