Over twenty-five years experience as a performer and over ten as a teacher, Lisa teaches pop, classical and music theatre with her speciality lying in Classical singing. In addition to her bachelor and masters degrees in music Lisa is currently undergoing further training at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance on their highest level qualification. She can prepare students for exams, performances, competitions, auditions or just for fun. Lessons are tailored to the individual, with an emphasis on a healthy technique bringing the most out of your voice.

Teaching in vocals:

Lisa teaches vocals from beginners to advanced students of all ages. Lessons are tailored specifically to a studentís needs but can include:

- Basic to advanced singing techniques
- Musical expression and performance
- Optional music reading and sight-singing
- Career development advice
- A broad range of repertoire
- Piano skills can be incorporated for self-accompaniment or practice purposes.
- An introduction to songwriting
- Optional preparation for exams, performances, auditions, festivals and competitions

Teaching in piano :
Lisa teaches piano from beginners to advanced students of all ages. Lessons are tailored specifically to a studentís needs:

- Accompaniment
- Technique
- Repertoire
- Musical expression and performance
- Guidance for practice
- Notation, sight-reading and theory
- Reading chords, and improvisation
- Optional preparation for exams, performances, auditions, festivals and competitions

First lesson:
The first lesson is an opportunity for teacher and student to get to know each other and is not an audition! It is vitally important to have a good rapport with your teacher and enjoy your lessons (otherwise what is the point?!) There is no commitment with the first lesson, and you are fully encouraged to go away and have a think or a chat after the consultation lesson before committing to lessons. It will also give Lisa an opportunity to learn what the needs and aims of the student are.

Beginners:
Everyone is welcome regardless of age, or level of experience, as learning an instrument can have a massive positive impact on our well-being and confidence. Beginners are just as welcome as advanced students.

Please feel free to write Lisa a message if you are interested in signing up for lessons or have any questions.
