Notes:

Studied at the Royal Academy of Music with acclaimed pianist Druvi de Saram for 8 years (himself a student of Daniel Barenboim), before commencing a law degree at the University of Cambridge, where I was actively involved in the music scene.

I've performed at many world-class venues, including repeat performances at St John's Smith Square and Wigmore Hall. I've been received multiple Young Musician Awards at various festivals around the currently, notably the enormous Bournemouth Musical Festival in 2011, as well as winning multiple piano prizes through competitions judged by some of the best classical pianists and teachers in the country - among them Murray McLachlan, Tom Poster, and Ian Jones.

I've taught a number of young pupils piano and music theory, including Jasmine Thompson, who went on as a singer-pianist to sign with Atlantic Records and score a BBC Radio 1 Chart No. 2 hit with Felix Jaehn, "Ain't Nobody".

I've also taught a number of other disciplines intensively, including Latin, Fencing, Rowing and Critical Thinking, and through this I have cultivated a specific and focused style of teaching. I believe that the student and teacher should be able to work together to achieve particular goals, which either I or the student will have in mind. I am looking for students who a driven and committed, although I am keen to light the fire of enthusiasm in students who are on the fence about pursuing classical piano - as I think it was one of the greatest skills you can learn.

NB: Not currently offering lessons at my own location - but happy to commute to the student's location.
