Notes:

Hello, my name is Adam and I am 28 years old. I have been playing the double bass for 17 years and am currently employed as the principle bass player of the Band of the Grenadier Guards in Central London. I studied History and Music at Keele University and graduated with a First Class Honours in July 2014 after specialising in solo double bass performance for the bulk of the music half of my degree.I play the clarinet in both marching band and stage settings as part of my job. Prior to my career in London, I briefly taught secondary history in the West Midlands whilst remaining active in various orchestras across the Birmingham area. Although I enjoyed being a classroom teacher, the opportunity to be employed as a professional musician was too good to ignore. I still greatly aspire to tutor others within musical fields however, because it is a subject that I am keen to inspire a genuine passion for. Music is a universal language to be enjoyed by all irrespective of age.
