Notes:

I've been playing the drums for over 20 years with extensive experience of teaching drums to children of all ages. I have worked with children in musical examination settings and while helping at concerts arranged by my mother, an esteemed Birmingham violin teacher who runs workshops in schools across Birmingham.

Working from the acoustically-treated studio in my home Kings Norton, I can provide drum lessons to suit the needs of you or your child, including the rudiments of music theory if necessary. Whatever style you're interested in learning, I can provide a tailored course to suit your needs.

I'm a classically trained musician, with a great grounding in music theory from growing up in a musical household with a highly-respected violin teacher for a mum and a world class horn player for a dad.

I picked up the drums aged 9 and have played in a wide range of musical outfits and styles since. Most notably, I was the drummer for the 90s drum and bass act, Plutonik. I have also released my own drum and bass record and am currently working on various music projects, including a dream pop act. I have also played in rock bands, jazz ensembles, and a number of national and regional orchestras.
