Ability Levels: Beginners to Advanced

As a music graduate I am keen to put my performing and teaching experience to good use and encourage students to pick up new instruments (or dust off old!) and play for pleasure, profession or in groups. I have a vast amount of performance experience, from the Royal Albert Hall to Leeds Town Hall and I am keen to share my orchestra land solo experience with students.

I am also a fully qualified secondary school teacher and will also tutor Music GCSE and A Level.

Whether it's for grades, for a person to play duets with, or to perform in small groups or ensembles then get in touch.

I have worked with all ages - from 5 to 85 and am happy to work with any student, no matter the age. Previous pupils have successfully auditioned for the National Children's Orchestra of Great Britain.

I incorporate music theory into my lessons and work to develop musicality within each of my pupils - something I believe is incredibly important for overall musical development.

I am happy to travel within the Birmingham area or can teach you from my home in the Jewellery Quarter.
