I am a classically trained tenor and conductor, trained at the Royal College of Music and Cambridge, with many years of experience teaching a wide range of singing genres at a variety of levels.

I was a first study singer at the Royal College of Music Junior Department, before winning a choral scholarship to Cambridge, where I taught singers varying from young choristers to experienced singers. At Cambridge, I conducted many choirs and orchestras, including the Cambridge University Symphony Orchestra, and was awarded a high 1st in the performance module.

I now work as a professional singer in the renowned Choir of St John's College Cambridge, and also work as a freelance teacher and singer in London and Cambridge.

I have a friendly, encouraging and positive approach to all my lessons, and do my best to tailor my coaching to the individual needs and aims of each pupil. I'm really enjoy working with young students, and those who are coming to classical singing for the first time, but also enjoy teaching more experienced students to fulfil their potential.

If you hope to work towards ABRSM grades, improve your ability to read written music, or just practice singing for the sheer enjoyment of it, I'm happy to help!

As a Cambridge music graduate and experienced orchestral conductor, I also love to teach music theory at all levels up to ABRSM Grade 8 Standard. Do get in contact if you are interested in improving your understanding of written music, harmony, or need to pass ABRSM Grade 5 theory in order to pursue higher grades in other instruments.
