Robert and Sarah have had some very good flute teachers but tell me that Elaine is by far the best they have ever had. Sarah particularly tells me that Elaine makes excellent suggestions and has improved her flute playing a great deal. Sarah played a recent piece at school for GCSE and her music teacher asked Sarah if she was doing A Level Music, as she would have achieved a good A level Grade for the piece. Elaine is an excellent flute teacher. |

Elaine has been a great teacher for our 10 year old daughter. She has been very reliable, consistent and thorough. She has a good feel for when to be encouraging and when she might need to be a bit firmer. She has been able to adapt her style to our daughters needs. And most importantly they have fun together. |

Alice has always loved the flute, but Elaine continues to encourage and inspire her. Elaine has high standards and always pays attention to detail when teaching, but she still makes sure the lessons are fun. I would happily recommend Elaine as a flute teacher to children of any musical standard. |

Hi, I'm Alice, and Elaine is my flute teacher. She first started teaching me after I had taken my grade 1 exam, and as a result of her fantastic teaching I passed grade 2 with distinction! Elaine is a great teacher and constantly helps me improve my technique and breathing. Each lesson I improve and I wouldn't want any other teacher. |

Elaine patiently and firmly builds her pupils' skills and confidence on the flute. With me, she took me from never having assembled a flute before to being comfortable with a range of music styles. She balances building the essential foundations for more advanced playing with fun pieces that keep it interesting. When I struggle, she has a unique ability to figure out the challenges I am having and to suggest techniques to improve my playing. I would recommend her wholeheartedly to any level of player. |
