I obtained my music degree at the Conservatorio di Musica "G. Verdi in Milan, Italy. This was followed by a two-year orchestral course in Florence, where I was also principal clarinet of the Italian National Youth Orchestra. I then continued my studies in Germany where, under the guidance of Eduard Brunner, one of the most renowned performers and clarinet tutors worldwide, I obtained my Postgraduate Certificate in Music Performance with Distinction.

As a professional clarinettist I freelanced both in Italy and England, performing with some of the best orchestras of the two countries, such as the OSN RAI (Italian National Radio Orchestra) the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Manchester Camerata, Lancashire Sinfonietta and the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company amongst others. I also made several recordings for the German Radio (Saarländischer Rundfunk).

At present I enjoy my career as a clarinet and saxophone teacher both in the independent and state school sectors. The thorough and inspiring work I do allows my students to obtain high marks at GCSE, A level, IB, Trinity and ABRSM exams and Diplomas. Many of them have become members of prestigious youth orchestras, including the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, National Children's Orchestra of Great Britain, Hallé Youth Orchestra and Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. Some of my students were also offered places to study at the Royal College of Music, RNCM, Birmingham Conservatoire and Leeds College of Music.
