Notes:
I'm a recent graduate of St Peter's College, Oxford, where I held a Choral Scholarship and graduated with a First Class Honours in Music (BA). I now study conducting at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. I'm principally a conductor, but am also a diploma-level cellist (DipABRSM) and an experienced vocalist and keyboard player. My practical experience ranges from conducting the 100-strong Oxford University Chorus at the Sheldonian Theatre and serving as Musical Director of the Eden Valley Opera Company through to performing cello concertos and solo recitals in Christ Church Cathedral and the University Church of Oxford.
As a teacher, I have experience with a wide range of ages and abilities. In the past, I have led workshops with large groups of primary school children, conducted elderly, amateur choirs, and taken one-to-one lessons with serious instrumentalists.
